Perusall (for Students)

Accessing Perusall through Canvas:

1. If your professor has linked Perusall with your Canvas course, there should be a button among those on the left of the screen. If you do not see this list (pictured below), click the icon to view the course menu. Perusall should be listed like this: 
   
2. Click the Perusall link to be redirected to your class's Perusall page.
3. When on your Perusall dashboard, you should see three buttons: Get Started, Library, and Assignments. 
4. Click Library to access readings for your class. Under this section will be all of your assigned readings. Click on a reading you would like to view, and then Open the file or Download it, depending on your preference. If you download it, you will not be able to make collaborative comments, highlights, etc., as all of your changes will be localized on your computer.
5. Click Assignments to view readings or activities specifically assigned to you by your professor. Click any assignment you would like to complete and then hit the green button labelled Work on Assignment to begin.
