Access:
Please access Zoom via our Ursinus Connect Portal (powered by Okta). You can log into the Ursinus Connect Portal using your Ursinus credentials, and then choose the “Zoom” selection box. If you do not currently have access to Zoom and you do not see an icon/chicklet for Zoom, please contact Tech Support.
You can also access the Ursinus Zoom login directly at https://ursinus-edu.zoom.us
Note: Please do not visit the main page of Zoom’s website and attempt to login there with your Ursinus credentials. Please only visit https://ursinus-edu.zoom.us or http://connect.ursinus.edu to login to your Zoom account.
All Faculty and Staff have Licensed Zoom Pro accounts: A Licensed user can host unlimited meetings on the public cloud. They can host meetings with up to 300 participants. Licensed users have these additional features available:
- Customize Personal Meeting ID
- Record to the Zoom cloud
- Be an alternative host
- Assign others to schedule and schedule on behalf of
- Customize Personal Link
Students are issued Basic Zoom accounts by default. A Basic user can host meetings with up to 100 participants. If 3 or more participants join, the meeting will time out after 40 minutes.

If a Student is in a leadership position and needs an upgrade to a Licensed Zoom Pro account, they should submit a request to Tech Support and include approval from the organization’s advisor or supervising Faculty or Staff member.
Download and Install the Zoom app for your device here: https://zoom.us/download. If you’re having trouble, you can find the correct version for your OS here.
When first using the Zoom app:
- Click Sign in with SSO on the right-hand side (alternatively, it may appear at the bottom):
- Type in ursinus-edu in the box provided, then select Continue. (Full URL for Ursinus Users: ursinus-edu.zoom.us)
- Sign in with your Ursinus credentials when prompted.
