Adding and connecting to a WiFi network

A wireless icon on a computer looks something like this:

To connect a windows computer to an available WiFi network, go to the bottom right side of the main screen and click on the WiFi icon - from an Apple/Mac, the icon is usually on the upper right and the icons looks similar to pic below:

NOTE:  if you see this instead of the wireless icon show above, you are currently connected to a wired network and you have a network cord plugged in.  You can click this icon to proceed as this will also allow you to view available wifi connections.

Clicking on either of these icons should pop up the below window:

Next click on the arrow next to the wireless icon in the new pop up, looks similar to the first icon picture above, in the pop up window example above, it is labeled as 'Ursinus Secure".

After clicking the arrow, a list of available wifi networks will be shown.  From the list, click on the network you want to connect to and then enter the requested password and/or follow the prompts required to connect to the wifi network.

For direct link on getting the password to connect to Ursinus WiFi Wireless network, visit the following link from your phone (while on cellular), or from a computer with Internet access.  --->   go.ursinus.edu/wifi

After logging in and following the prompts, you will see this box, or something similar.  The password is what you will use to login to the ursinus wifi network.

This is your private password.  Do not share.
