How to Access Ursinus Guest Network (For Guests)

Overview/Introduction

For those visiting the Ursinus campus, such as family, alumni, etc the Ursinus Guest wireless network will allow you to access the Internet on your personal devices such as laptops, cell phones, and tablets.

NOTE: Please read the article in full to understand what must be done before attempting to connect.

Things to keep in mind

1. The guest portal will not work well with devices such as Streaming sticks, game consoles, Amazon Alexa's, etc and is only recommended for Cell phones, Laptops, and tablets.
2. Make sure to hold on to the password you receive in your email at the time of registration in case you need to sign back into the guest network.
3. After you register your first device you will use the same email and password you receive to register any additional device
4. The guest network is for Internet access only and will not allow devices to connect to on campus resources used by Faculty/Staff/Students. If you are one of those three please use the Ursinus Wi-Fi network instead.

How to Connect to Ursinus Guest

1. Select the Ursinus Guest wireless network from your device
2. After a few seconds a splash page will open in a separate web browser.  Click On Picture to Enlarge
3. Once on the splash page click on the register button at the bottom.Click On Picture to Enlarge
4. This will take you to a new screen were you will fill out your email address. This email will be the username you use, along with an auto generated password from the system, to log back in to the guest wireless in case the device gets disconnected and needs to log back in.Click On Picture to Enlarge
5. Please provide a real email address in order to get your password in case you have to reconnect to the Ursinus Guest Network. Click On Picture to Enlarge
6. Make sure to check the 'I Accept the Terms and Conditions' box as well.Click On Picture to Enlarge
7. Click the register button, and after a few seconds you will be connected to the Ursinus Guest network. If you need to connect more device skip down to the next part of the article How to Log back into the Ursinus Guest Network and re-use the username and password you recieve in the email in order to add another device to the network.Click On Picture to Enlarge

How to Log back into the Ursinus Guest Network

1. If your device is ever disconnected from the Ursinus Guest Network. Because the device wondered between buildings or off of campus it may ask you to sign back into the Ursinus Guest wireless network.
2. If the splash page will pop up asking you to sign in. Don't try to register your device again. Click On Picture to Enlarge
3. In the email you received when first signing in your username (the email provided) and a password (auto generated by the system) can be entered in the box.Click On Picture to Enlarge
4. Then hit the sign in button.Click On Picture to Enlarge
5. After that the device will reconnect.
