Overview/Introduction
Students can set up Person Proxy for parents or guardians whom they wish to allow permission to view billing, access statements, print receipts, or make account payments.
Once the student sets up the proxy, the proxy should get an email with the username, for example, first name.last name. (Please take note of the "period" between first and last name).
The person proxy will also receive instructions on changing their password when logging into the account to act on behalf of the student.
The article below will also help when a proxy user logs in successfully to the site https://selfservice.ursinus.edu/Student/ and the change Proxy user "Person Proxy" pop-up window doesn't show in the middle of the screen.
Details
If the Person Proxy window pops up, you will be able to select the person you want to view. For example, my name is Ray Stitt, and my student's name is Michael Hart.
I will want to act on behalf of my student Michael Hart and I will then select that name from the pop-up box. However, if I don't get that pop-up box with my name, John Doe, or my student's name, Susan Doe. If I go to the top right-hand corner, I will see my user profile "jdoe." This will be located to the left of the sign-out area part of the screen.

Once I click on my user name "jdoe" if I look to the bottom of the drop-down box I will see "Change Proxy User".
I will then click on that option and should see my name and my student's name in the middle of the screen as shown below.
Then I can progress to click on Michael Hart and act on behalf of my student to pay bills, view grades whatever Michael Hart has allowed me to access to do.
