How to Access Ursinus Secure Wi-Fi

*Please note:  If you've reached this page due to a new phone purchase, or switching to a new phone, you may need to contact Ursinus Tech Support at 610-409-3789.  Tech Support may need to reset your MFA settings in order for you to proceed in setting up your new device.

Overview/Introduction

The Ursinus secure network is only for devices such as Laptops, Smart phones, or tablets. Devices from which you can enter your Ursinus credentials in order to connect to it. For all other device unable to do this they must connect to the Ursinus Public network. If you are a student/faculty/staff member please click HERE for instructions. If you are a guest to the college please click HERE for the instructions for guests.

How to access: 

To access the Secure network from your smartphone, computer, or tablet you must complete the following steps: 

  1. Select Ursinus Secure from the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your device.

  1. Enter your Ursinus credentials (your Ursinus given email is the username and the password is the one you use to access your Ursinus portal) when prompted to do so.

  1. You may also be asked to trust/accept the certificate from clearpass.ursinus.edu.  Do this if prompted.

You should then be connected to the Ursinus Secure Network.

If you have any trouble with this process, submit a Wireless Networking service request, or contact Tech Support using the information below.
