How to Access Ursinus Secure Wi-Fi

*Please note:  If you've reached this page due to a new phone purchase, or switching to a new phone, you may need to contact Ursinus Tech Support at 610-409-3789.  Tech Support may need to reset your MFA settings in order for you to proceed with setting up your new device.

Overview/Introduction

The Ursinus Secure network is only for devices such as laptops, smartphones, or tablets (devices from which you can enter your Ursinus credentials in order to connect).  For all other devices unable to do this, or if you are a student, please connect your device to the Ursinus Student network.  Please click HERE for instructions on connecting to the Ursinus Student Wireless. If you are a guest to the college, please click HERE for the instructions for guests.

How to access: 

To access the Secure network from your smartphone, computer, or tablet you must complete the following steps: 

  1. Select Ursinus Secure from the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your device.

  1. Enter your Ursinus credentials when prompted to do so (your Ursinus email is the username, and the password is the one you use to access other applications on campus).

  1. You may also be asked to trust/accept the certificate from clearpass.ursinus.edu.  Do this if prompted. This is especially common is you are connecting from an Apple device.

You should then be connected to the Ursinus Secure Network.
